Done in enamels on a ceramic plaque, which accounts for the fresh look of the figures and the way they stand out from the background.
Beautiful. I love old paintings and photos, that captured a moment in time long past.
I've joked this before, but I'm beginning to think we now have a monsoon season instead of a summer!
